The Queensland Government is working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to go as dry as possible in order to reduce alcohol-related harms, especially to children, women and other vulnerable members.

Information for travellers
Alcohol restrictions apply to residents, visitors and people travelling in Indigenous communities in Far North (including Cape York), North and Central Queensland.
Special conditioning for licensed premises
Special conditions may apply to licensed operators within or near communities that have alcohol restrictions.
